Program Overview:   

Duration: 3 Years (Six Semesters) / 4 Years (Eight Semesters) for Honors Degree (As per NEP 2020 )

Eligibility: 12th  Arts/Commerce/Science Stream  

Degree Awarded: Bachelor of Arts (B.A) / Honours in Major Subject As per NEP

• Multidisciplinary Approach: Our B.A program fosters interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to explore connections between various fields such as history, literature, social sciences, languages, and fine arts.  
• Experiential Learning: Students engage in experiential learning activities, including fieldwork, internships, community projects, and creative endeavors, to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world contexts.  
• Critical Inquiry: Emphasis is placed on developing critical thinking, analytical skills, and research capabilities, enabling students to engage with complex ideas, texts, and socio-cultural phenomena.

1. History: Explore the richness and diversity of human experiences across time and space, studying ancient civilizations, modern revolutions, cultural movements, and global conflicts.  
2. Political Science: Analyze political systems, institutions, ideologies, and movements, investigating issues of power, governance, democracy, human rights, and global politics.  
3. Sociology: Examine the structures, processes, and dynamics of human societies, exploring topics such as social inequality, gender relations, urbanization, globalization, and social change.  
4. Hindi: Study the language, literature, and cultural heritage of Hindi-speaking regions, enhancing proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and appreciating Hindi literature and poetry.  
5. English: Delve into the world of English language, literature, and literary theory, exploring works of fiction, drama, poetry, and non-fiction from diverse historical and cultural contexts.  
6. Economics: Analyze economic systems, theories, and policies, investigating issues such as market dynamics, resource allocation, income distribution, globalization, and sustainable development.  
7. Music: Discover the beauty and significance of music in human societies, exploring theory, composition, performance, and the cultural, historical, and social contexts of music traditions.  
8. Drawing and Painting: Cultivate artistic expression and creativity through drawing, painting, and visual storytelling, learning techniques, styles, and concepts in both traditional and contemporary art forms.  
9. Psychology: Explore the human mind and behavior, studying topics such as cognition, emotion, perception, personality, development, mental health, and psychotherapy.
