CODE OF ETHICS FOR RESEARCH

Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), Jabalpur, M.P. established in 1994, Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya Autonomous, a prominent institute of higher education and learning. The college has been nurtured and inspired by the divine and celestial vision of Mata Gujri Ji a nobel supreme soul of patience, self-sacrifice and devotion.   
The college promotes a sound academic atmosphere imbibed with rich moral values and traditions that fosters a holistic development of students. With a proud legacy of 27 years, the college has outperformed resulting in laudable achievements in academics and para-academics.   
The College is multi-faculty offering an array of UG and PG courses with faculty supervising PhD. Due to the commitment of college towards women empowerment, it runs a number of skill enhancement and innovative certificate courses empowering the young women to grow into confident, skilled communicators and responsible individuals. The college offers such a broad range of courses with the aim of imparting quality comprehensive education beyond curriculum to young women by using modern technology and infrastructure. Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), Jabalpur, M.P. has a unique and innovative educational ideology, practical, aesthetic, intellectual and physical, above all moral aspects which develop an integrated and balanced personality of the students besides providing the requisite professional training. While, most students learn ethics at home, at school, and other social settings, the campus ethos of Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), naturally imbibe high moral values. The College believes in simple living and high thinking. Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya aims at synthesizing and balancing scientific achievements and spiritual values of the east and of the west to prepare women for enlightened leadership roles in all walks of life. The College has kept pace with the changing times but has never compromised with its core principles. Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya is offering graduate, post-graduate and Ph.D. programmes in a vast variety of disciplines such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Electronics, Fine Arts, Science, Education and Commerce. 

Researchers of Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), Jabalpur, M.P. are expected to: -

1. Undertake research activities in thrust areas in accordance with the accepted standards. 
2. Ensure that only the authentic data, findings, and research results shall be reported in thesis/dissertation, journals, conferences, summits and symposia. 
3. Determine significant errors in the published data, through the issuance of erratum or withdrawal of the data. 
4. Avoid statements or declarations that might misguide. 
5. Strictly follow the plagiarism policy of Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), Jabalpur, M.P. (As per UGC norms).
6. Provide citation for the information/data used from the other sources. 
7. Provide appropriate acknowledgment of resource/funding sources of the research. 
8. Claim authorship to only those who made a significant contribution towards the research accomplishment. 
9. Be transparent in the use and disbursement of resources for research. 
10. Declare conflict of interest if any in publication of research findings. 
11. 11. Ensure that research consequences are accessible to the public after completion of the research.
12. Publish research findings only in authentic/genuine journals/books/compendium. 
13. Pursue the strategy approved in the research bye-laws
14. Maintain the premises clean and healthy. 
15. Not to make any inconvenience to any other researchers. 
16. Not to encourages others to violate any rules of the Mata Gujri Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), Jabalpur, M.P. Violation of rules and policy of college would be punishable. 
17. To carry out themselves in such a way as to bring recognition/ honor to themselves and to the College while attending functions/ conferences/ workshops.
