COLLEGE BUILDING-1

Since its establishment by GGSES in 1994, MGMM has advanced quickly in the fields of education and other relevant endeavors. Since 1998, the college has been accredited by the UGC under clauses 2f and 12B and is associated with Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya, Jabalpur. The college has a strong history of academic excellence, having been accredited by NAAC in 2004, 2011, and 2017. In each of these cycles, the institution earned an impressive Grade A, demonstrating consistent quality in education and institutional growth. Notably, in 2017, the college advanced further by achieving a Grade A+, highlighting its commitment to continual improvement. We are now aiming for the prestigious A++ grade in the upcoming NAAC inspection, building on this legacy of success. The college has steadfastly developed into an organization recognized for "Women Empowerment" in letter and spirit over the years by implementing quality assurance procedures in accordance with NAAC quality standards. The college has obtained autonomous status from UGC, effective April 1,2012, based on its own core strengths.

The college is the top choice for female students from urban areas as well as surrounding rural areas and public and private sector townships in the state due to its excellent academic reputation, convenient location, hostel facilities, and abundance of 28 courses (UG/PG) across 20 departments across four faculties. As a college that finances itself, MGMM has improved and maintained its growth in both terms of quantity and quality. The college is proud to have helped 3327 individuals enter higher education today—a far cry from its student body of 31 in 1994. With about 1200 students enrolled in PG/UG, diploma, and certificate programs, the college also operates an IGNOU Study Center. With more programs, employees in Class IV, teachers, administrators, and students, the college has augmented its infrastructural appropriately.

Over the years there has been a steady progress in research endeavours in terms of workshops conferences, seminars, funded projects faculty publications, student projects, internships etc. The college stands at the threshold of its 4th assessment & accreditation cycle and is best described by the following words…

The woods are lovely dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
miles to go before I sleep
