The Training & Placement Cell in the college plays a pivotal role in counseling and guiding the students for their successful careers. Placement cell is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into suitable employment. We sincerely believe in comprehensively training the students to face the corporate world and have a successful professional career. Professional training is provided to the students to enhance their communication skills & technical skills and to make them work as productive workforce. The Pre-recruitment training is conducted by professional trainers. The training sessions are scheduled from the beginning of each academic session. 

The objective of our Training and Placement Cell is to train the students as per industry expectations and provide the best of opportunities available.

Objectives of training and placement cell   

The objective of the department is to bridge the gap between industry and academia, through mutually exploring the opportunities for students, institutions, professionals and the corporate world at large towards better growth and development.

Institutions of higher learning need a robust interface with the industry in order to maintain the relevance of the programs offered. The Training & Placements department of MGMM continuously interacts with the industry for projects, internships, and placement activities for the successful student community of the college, besides providing continual improvement and inputs on ever-changing requirements.

The Department focuses at understanding the requirements of the corporate and then develops the abilities of our students and guides them in getting proper information about the market changes, industry expectations, nature of opportunities, salary structure, industry openings, on-campus and off-campus interviews for internship, projects and placements, career counseling and career development preparation. MGMM has a strong corporate back up sponsored by effective alumni members.

The following are aimed to accomplish tasks in every academic year:

  • To assist students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions.
  • Maintaining and regularly updating the database of students. Maintaining a database of companies and establishing strategic links for campus recruitments.  
  • Gathering information about job fairs and all relevant recruitment advertisements.
  • Coordinating with companies to learn about their requirements and recruitment procedures.
  • Identifying the needs and expectations of the companies to assist them in recruiting the most suitable candidates.  
  • Organizing pre-placement training/workshops/seminars for students.  
    Arranging periodic meetings with the Human Resources Department of companies and TPO’s to promote our institute.
  • Collecting feedback from employers where our students are selected.
  • To assist students for industrial training at the end of the final year/IVsem.
  • To assist employers to achieve their hiring goals.
  • To provide resources and activities to facilitate the career planning process.
  • To act as a link between students, alumni and the employment community.
  • To assist students in obtaining placement in reputed companies.  

Career Guidance:  

  • Highlighting articles on departmental notice boards regarding Competitive & and Industrial Career Opportunities.  
  • Inform students about the available job opportunities in government sectors and off-campus drives.  
  • Giving Motivational Talks.

  • Conducting Expectation Management Workshops.

The students are trained to attain placement through a variety of Programmes run by the Placement & Training Cell such as:

  • Various Training Programmes are organized to train the students in the areas of Aptitude, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Verbal through the Reputed External Training Centers .
